About Adam
Adam Douglas is a former freelance sports reporter for reportingsports.com and tigersportsreport.com, a part of memphis.rivals.com, that covers Memphis Tigers basketball. He graduated from The University of Memphis with a degree in Journalism where he was also was the food & drink beat reporter for MicroMemphis.com, a hyper-local news website and hub produced by the University of Memphis Department of Journalism.
While at Memphis, Adam has spent the last two years as a sports reporter/editor for the school's independent newspaper, The Daily Helmsman. He has also done work for the athletic department as a video assistant, where he primarily recorded football practices and games, edited and broke down tape, and interviewed players and coaches along with collaborating these aforementioned duties with other various sports at the U of M.
Since graduation, Adam wants to continue in the field of Journalism as a sports reporter at any small or large market newspaper or publication that will allow him to display his many talents and skills as a writer.
